Monday 8th February

We have our zoom call this morning at 10am It is the same meeting id and password as usual. Today we are going to read a story and have a scavenger hunt! See you all then! Have you ever been to a funfair before? What did it look like? What was your favourite thing about the funfair? Upload a picture of your writing to seesaw or record yourself reading it on seesaw. Read for 10 minutes Irish https://www.folensonline.ie/ follow the link to folens online, username and password have been sent through seesaw account. Go to Abair Liom B resources. The lesson is Sean agus an Gas Ponaire/ Jack and the beanstalk. Click on the postaer. Listen to the story/ sceal. Practise the phrase ‘Dia Duit/ Dia is Muire Duit- Hello/Hello(response).’

Read for 10 minutes Irish Have a look at the storyboard for Sean agus an Gas Ponaire on page 68 in Abair Liom.  Play Feicim le mo shuilin beag/ I spy with my little eye with the new vocab from this page.  Who are the people in the story and what type of clothes are they wearing? Practise the phrase- ‘D’fhas siad agus d’fhas siad./ They grew and they grew.’

English Complete pg 28 in All Write Now  If you have this page done practise letter formations and sentences on a whiteboard. Remember to take your time.  Hold your pencil correctly  Back straight  Feet flat on the floor for neat writing.
