Good morning Senior Infants,

Here's a fun and colourful way to practise writing our tricky words.
First draw a rainbow with two clouds at either end, you may need some help to draw the rainbow and clouds.
Next choose one tricky word and write it in each cloud.
Then find markers or crayons for the colours of the rainbow.
Finally write the word in each colour from one cloud over to the next cloud.

Try some of these tricky words;

You'll be glad to hear that your plants are continuing to grow really well. Lots of the cress stalks have grown really tall and are nearly ready to be harvested and used. We can eat the cress and add it to egg sandwiches or to a salad.

The pea shoots have grown really tall and they're a darker green and thicker than the cress.

The baby carrots have finally started to grow up from the compost. Charlotte's has grown up over the top of the paper cup and they look great. Charlotte is this week's star grower!

Well done to Eva who used planks of wood to make 2d shapes in her back garden! Fantastic effort Eva and lovely to see your smiley face doing some outdoor learning!

Have fun!
Miss McMahon
